- We repair. We do not sell shoes. No footwear of any kind is for sale here, new or used.

What Leroy does

Full and half soles, heel blocks, top lifts, toe taps and welt repair on leather and rubber.
Stitching and structure
Blown seams, split uppers, torn linings, loose vamps and separated soles brought back together.
Zippers and fit
Boot zipper replacement, stretching for width and instep, and shortening or adjusting straps.
Cleaning and shine
Conditioning, recoloring and a proper shine on dress shoes, work boots and weather damaged leather.
Handbags and leather goods
Handles, straps, hardware, belts and other leather repairs beyond footwear.

If a pair is not worth the repair, Leroy will tell you before you spend anything on it.
A good pair of shoes is worth keeping. Bring them in, and Leroy will make them worth wearing again.

No appointment. Walk in during shop hours and park in the free lot off Pompton Ave.
Get a price and a date
Leroy looks the pair over, quotes the work and tells you when it will be ready. Payment is cash at drop off.
Pick them up
Most jobs turn around in a few days. Call the shop if you want to check before you drive over.

No. Leroy repairs footwear. Cedar Grove Bootery does not sell shoes, boots or sneakers of any kind, in the shop or anywhere else.

It depends on the job. Leroy gives you a pickup date when you drop the pair off, and you can call the shop to check on it.
Do you ship repairs by mail?
No. Work is dropped off and picked up in person at the shop.
Do you repair handbags and other leather goods?
Yes. Bring in handbags, straps, belts and similar leather items and Leroy will tell you what can be done.
